Josh Jackson Declares for the NFL

On January 3rd, 2018, Josh Jackson, the now former Hawkeye cornerback, has decided to enter the NFL draft after his junior season. Jackson’s final season as a college athlete  consisted of eight successful interceptions. He also had a total of 35 solo tackles. He assisted the team in finishing off their season with a bowl game win at the Pinstripe Bowl in New York.

Eyes have been on Jackson since his success on the field during the 2017 season. The young athlete was honored as a Jim Thorpe Award finalist and the Big Ten’s defensive back of the year concluding his season.

Iowa Hawkeye and college football fans across the nation are excited to see where Jackson ends up after the 2018 NFL draft on April 26th.
